Remote Work Policy

Purpose and Scope

This policy has been prepared for employees within 3PMETRICS SUSTAINABILITY AND TECHNOLOGY INC. based on Article 14 of the Labor Law No. 4857; 'the employment relationship established in writing based on the principle that employees fulfill their work performance at home or outside the workplace through technological communication tools within the work organization created by the employer.'

This policy covers all employees of 3PMETRICS SUSTAINABILITY AND TECHNOLOGY INC.

Basic Principles

  1. The minimum conditions required by the place or places where remote work will be performed are communicated to the remote worker before work begins. The method of covering the costs arising from these arrangements is determined jointly by the remote worker and the employer.
  2. Who will provide the materials and work tools necessary for the remote worker's production of goods and services is specifically determined in the employment contract. The usage principles of these materials and work tools and maintenance and repair conditions are clearly communicated to the remote worker. The employer's work tools list of work tools is delivered to the employee in writing by the employer. A signed copy of the document delivered to the employee is kept in the employee's personnel file by the employer.
  3. In our company, the method and time interval of communication in remote work is determined by the remote worker and the employer.
  4. Our company informs the remote worker about the business rules and relevant legislation regarding the protection and sharing of data related to the workplace and the work performed, and takes necessary measures for the protection of this data. The employer determines the definition and scope of the data to be protected in the contract. The remote worker is obliged to comply with the business rules determined by the employer for the purpose of data protection.
  5. The duration of remote work in our company is specified in the employment contract. Working hours can be changed by the parties, provided that the limitations foreseen in the legislation are complied with. Overtime work is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the legislation with the acceptance of the employee upon the written request of the employer.
  6. Our company, considering the nature of the work performed by the remote worker regarding occupational health and safety measures; informs the employee, provides necessary training if available, ensures health supervision and takes necessary occupational safety measures related to the equipment provided.
