Galataport Istanbul Started Calculating Visitor Carbon Footprints

Galataport Istanbul, which welcomes visitors from across Turkey and around the world, has started calculating visitor carbon footprints as part of its sustainability efforts.

Through QR codes placed in the entrance areas, visitors can access EventCO₂ and calculate their carbon footprints based on transportation choices. The application is designed to increase sustainability awareness by helping visitors see the emissions created by their travel.
